We specialise in investments, pensions, mortgage advice, and protection, and also provide expert guidance and administration for small company group pension schemes.

Russell Skues

Director / Independent Financial Adviser

Russell has worked in the Financial Services industry for many years as an independent adviser, and having built up a wealth of experience is proud of the long term relationships that he has forged with many clients . Russell is a qualified adviser (CII DipPFS) and mortgage adviser (CEMAP).

Away from work Russell enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and playing various sports.

James Gibbs

Mortgage and Protection Adviser

James is a CeMAP-qualified Mortgage and Protection Adviser at Meridian, with over 20 years of experience in financial services. He began his career in London as a Mortgage and Bridging Finance Broker before relocating to Kent to raise his family.

He takes pride in offering clear, impartial advice and building long-term relationships with his clients.

Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his family and is a keen motorcycle enthusiast.

David Groves

Independent Financial Adviser

David has over 35 years’ experience within Financial Services, with the last 18 years as an Independent Adviser. Over that time David has built up a good relationship with his clients and is very proud of the personal service he has provided.

David is qualified to Diploma status and is able to advise on a range of financial topics.

In his spare time David is very keen follower of most sporting events and he and his wife like nothing better than to spend quality time with family and friends.

Ben Doble

Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Ben is a recently qualified, CeMAP-certified Mortgage and Protection Adviser with a fresh perspective and a client-first approach. He is passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership and financial protection goals, delivering advice built on trust, transparency, and providing a personalised service.

In his own time Ben enjoys playing cricket, running and days out with his young family.

Andrew Brind

Independent Financial Adviser

Andrew started his Financial Services career in 1987, becoming an Independent Adviser in 1994 before establishing his own advice practice in 1997. Andrew joined Meridian Financial Planning Ltd in 2015 as a qualified adviser (CII DipPFS) and mortgage adviser (CEMAP).
